for me, the best show is weeds, so right now i am going through weeds withdrawl waiting for season 4 to come out on dvd; so i did the next best thing, and ordered season 1 of californication on dvd. i was watching the first dvd yesterday, and boy, can david duchovny act. i am putting californication and weeds as my favorite programs. keep up the good work, showtime!!!!

I was a late Californication bloomer!! I always just blew it off and thought....Californication??? It can't be any good!! Then I had nothing else to watch and Showtime was replaying the 1st season before the start of the second. So I watched.....I was blown away how well acted and writteb it was. The scenes between Hank and his daughter and Hank and Karen were very poinant!!! I was hooked and bought the 1st season dvd on EBAY. I hope there is a 3rd season!!

Californication is without a doubt the best show on television. Whoever decided on David Duchovny to play Hank Moody is a genius. I don't think any actor could play the part as well.
