My Californication Soundtrack Song List Here is a list of songs I'd like to hear in the show: 1. Bad Dream - Keane (for two reasons. 1. because Hank often has a lot of bad dreams. And 2. he feels as though his life at the moment is a bad dream, and that if he woke up from that dream, he would be married to Karen and living with her and Becca). 2. To Be Alone With You - Sufjan Stevens (because Hank would give anything to be back with Karen) 3. Nothing Like You & I - The Perishers (this song should be used in one of the scenes where Hank and Karen spend time with each other without the presence of Bill) 4. World Spins Madly On - The Weepies (this is one of the most appropriate songs for Hank because he feels like the world is passing him by and there is nothing he can do about it) 5. Pills - The Perishers (this is also another extremely appropriate song for Hank because on the outside he is a cool, calm & successful individual, but on the inside he is struggling to deal with what's going on around him, and therefore frequently turns to substance abuse to assist him to forget his life) |

| TOP TEN CALIFORNICATION EPISODES |
| 10. "California Son" is my favorite so far. It was a perfect blend of drama and comedy. It was just amazing how much was put into this 30 minute episode. Loved seeing the background of the Karen/Hank relationship. Also we got a chance to see that Hank's dad had a very big influence on him in both good and bad ways. His dad cheating on his mom made Hank a more committed man and father because of this. He also got his dad's pension for cursing, smoking and the ladies. But most of all we had the chance to see Hank "make love" for the first time in this series. All the other times he was just "having sex" There was no nudity and yet it was the sexiest scene yet on the show. Loved that there wasn't any music in the background. Only the sound of Karen and Hank's heavy breathing. Which just goes to prove that you really don't need a bunch of T and A to have it be sexy. Posted by: luvducov 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. |
